$18.00 PER DAY

PLEASE NOTE: ENTIRE MALES WILL INCUR A CHARGE OF AN EXTRA $2.00 PER DAY.
CATS
$15.00 PER DAY FOR A CAT IN A SINGLE ROOM
$13.00 PER DAY FOR EACH CAT SHARING THE SAME ROOM
#Boarding fees are charged as a daily rate and include the day of arrival and day of departure regardless of the time you arrive.
#These charges may change without notice.
# Payments are by cash or internet banking. Eftpos is not available. Our banks details is HMG Boarding Kennel and Cattery, Kiwibank 38 9017 0277285 00.
# You will be charged for all days booked if in the case you return early.
# We reserve the right to charge you the full fee for your stay if you cancel within 7 days of arrival date or a cancellation fee of $50.00.
# Internet banking the payment must show in our bank account prior to collecting your cat or dog. Any unpaid accounts will incur a 10% penalty after 7 days. We will use a debt collection agency for any unpaid fees and you will be responsible for all charges.
# There is a minimum 3 day charge for any single cat or dog boarding with us. This does not apply to multiple pets sharing the same room.
# Other payment arrangements will apply in the case of long term stays (any stays over 20 days) such as part payment before arrival and regular scheduled payments such as fortnightly or monthly.
# For long term stays that do not have an 'end date' you must give us a minimum of 7 days notice that you will be collecting your pet.
Bookings:
Bookings are either via phone, email or facebook messages, I will let you know the deposit amount.
For all bookings a 20% deposit on the total cost of your pets stay will be required to confirm your space with us. This will be refunded to you if you cancel 7 days prior to the start of your pets stay or if I can fill the room with another pet.
We do not:
- offer any discounts on fees if you provide your own food.
- charge for administering any medication.
- charge any public holiday surcharges.
- charge for providing dog treats.
Christmas/New Year period (20 December to the 10 January) Conditions for Boarding as from 8 January 2024.
Bookings for the Christmas and New Year period (20 December to the 10 January) will require a 30% deposit to secure your booking and must be paid within 14 days of making the booking or the room will be offered to another client. This deposit is non refundable and non transferrable to another booking if you cancel your booking after the 1st December.
There will be a minimum charge of 5 days during the Christmas New Year period, (20th December to the 10th January)
All payments for your pets over the Christmas/New Year period (20th December to the 10th January) need to be paid in full by the 15th December. If any bookings are taken after this period full payment must be received within 2 days of the date of the booking or the booking will be automatically cancelled.
Christmas/New Year bookings: I feel it is fairest to give priority to customers who support our business frequently throughout the year, (not just over peak periods), I will contact these customers in January/February, and will start accepting other bookings after that. If the dates that you require are fully booked, we will add you to the waitlist and contact you if there is a cancellation. Please be aware that the waitlist is not just a number in a ‘queue’ and will be dictated by the dates available and requested, so please only request what you need. Also a factor will be the size and nature of your dog.

Pick Up and Delivery Option
$15.00 for each way from Top Vets Kaitaia.
Please have your cat in a secure cat cage and also if your dog cannot be lead in a calm manner into the vet clinic and out again we cannot offer this service to you and you will need to bring him or her out to the kennel yourself. This also applies if your dog consistently barks or howls at the vets - we have to respect that this is a vet clinic and there are sick animals being taken care of there and Top Vets offered this service to us and to our clients and we do not want to put extra stress on them.
This is only available if the vets have room to hold your dog or cat for us until the are collected, so please do not be disappointed if this option is not available at times.

There are no drop off or collection from the Vets on a Saturday morning.

8.30 am to 10.00 am
3.00 pm to 5.30 pm
You will need to provide me with a time when making your booking please.
This means that if you are dropping off or collecting a pet you need to be here before 10.00 am and 5.30 pm please
We are closed every Wednesday morning
